BRIGHTEN UP YOUR PANS: The plant fibre wooden pan scrubber has super-tough, short bristles.  This replaces your brillo or iron wool.  Bring back the shine to your pots with nature!

100% NATURAL: The fibres of this dish scourer are made from a mix of coir (coconut fibre) and Agave Sisalana plant, which is an extremely versatile plant similar to hemp. The handle and head are made purely from wood.

FEELS GREAT IN YOUR HAND: Washing with a wooden brush just feels nice. Soft to hold and easy to brush around any surface.

MULTIPURPOSE SCRUBBER: This small wooden pot scrubber can be used for a variety of uses, from washing pots and pans to cleaning mould off walls. It's also great for scrubbing ovens and any other heavy-duty cleaning tasks around the house!

This incredibly sturdy pan scourer will cover all your needs for hand washing in the kitchen.  Its's great for getting rid of tough dirt on your plates and pans, and it's the perfect eco-friendly alternative to a commercial disposable scrubber.

Like all our EARTHBITS brushes, it is made from sustainable and natural materials, and it is a great addition to our collection of eco-friendly cleaning products!

This little guy is fully biodegradable at the end of life, but as it is incredibly resistant and long-lasting, it will take a long while before you have to add it to your compost!

Other benefits include

  • Just as effective as plastic counterparts
  • Long-lasting.  We have been using ours for over 6 months and still no sign of deterioration.
  • No flaking.  You may think that because it is a coconut or plant fibre that it may flake off.  We have not noticed a single strand come off all this time
  • A perfect balance of sturdiness and flexibility.
  • 100% plastic-free
  • Ergonomic handle that is soft in the hand and also very smooth.

Made from SISAL fibres, coconut fibre and wood

  • Use as a regular dish scrubber, please do not leave it sitting in water for long periods, as this will diminish its useful life.
  • Not suitable for dishwashers due to its natural materials; just rinse it underwater with natural soap to remove residues and bacteria.
  • Let it air dry when not in use.

Upcycling is one of our favourite zero-waste habits here at EarthBits!

First off, thank you for visiting our website! We starting our own journey as a zero-waste family with a clear goal in mind to make meaningful changes in our habits and lifestyle; our mantra has always been “have less impact on the planet, create less waste, and become better, more sustainable consumers”.

In our quest to swap plastic or disposable products with durable, plastic-free and less wasteful alternatives, we found there were companies we fell we could trust completely. These companies are now part of the EarthBits family and we are very proud to collaborate with them and showcase their products on this site!

On the other hand, we also found there were a lot of other products that were advertised as “eco-friendly” but didn’t seem to us as sustainable or ethical as we wanted them to be. With that in mind, we decided to launch our own brand of products, sourced from small, often family-run suppliers we can fully trust.

All our products have a story to tell, and they have been made with our beautiful Earth in mind! I hope you will love them as much as we do!

Ask a Question
  • Is it safe to use on non-stick pans?

For non sticky pans I would use this Wooden Sisal Dish Brush instead, it's much gentler and specifically designed for non stick pans. The head is also replaceable so once all used up, you can keep the handle and simply replace the head!
