Bees are such incredible beings, the world would not function in the same way without them. They are such an important part of our eco-system and food chain due to their pollination, and so many products come from their beeswax: soaps, cosmetics, natural creams. And it can also be a great alternative to plastic wraps! This soft cotton sheet is soaked in hot beeswax wraps and other natural oils, to make it flexible yet sticky, perfect for wrapping bread, cheese or any other thing that you would like to store in your kitchen.

Founders Carly and Fran started adopting a plastic-free lifestyle in early 2017, being aware of the terrible effect plastics were having on the environment. The one item that they struggled to replace was cling film, they just couldn’t find anything that could wrap food in that would keep it naturally fresh and protected. Carly had mentioned seeing Beeswax Wraps when she lived in Australia, and after a few ruined irons, they finally hit on a really great mix that created beautifully flexible and really well-sealing wraps. Not only were they saving plastic but also cutting down on food waste too. Their mission is to try and make a small but positive difference in a kind and thoughtful way, one beeswax wrap at a time. Their wonderful wraps are all handmade in the Cotswolds, UK.
