Hi, I have recently brought your soap nuts and I'm very impressed. Really impressed to be honest they are wonderful. My only concern is... have they have been imported from the Himalayas ? I never thought about it to be honest until a friend said that's not environmental friendly. I still love them tho. Xx
Hello, yes they do come from India but we ship them by sea once a year (after they are harvested) in big containers. That makes their carbon footprint very low!
Does the soapnut make a lot.of suds when using it as a shampoo? I'm asking to know if the liquid can be extended beyond two weeks in the fridge. Can the liquid be frozen to extend use beyond two weeks?
Soapnuts make suds but not the same as a regular shampoo. They are particularly suited for eczema sufferers and very delicate skins. I would recommend making batches once a week for better performance. They only need to be added to hot water and boiled so it's a fairly quick and effortless thing to do! Hope that helps!
